Sustainable House Day, presented by Solar Shop Australia, provides a unique opportunity for people to meet with home owners who have 'been there, done that' and are able to provide unbiased advice about their own personal experience, there is nothing more valuable.
In addition, architects, builders and energy auditors are also on hand at many of the homes to provide expert tips whether you're building a new home or simply improving elements of your existing house.
Now in its ninth year, Sustainable House Day provides a chance for people to exchange ideas and learn from each other helping our entire community and once you have experienced living in a home that is cool in summer without airconditioning and warm in winter with little or no heating, it's hard not to get excited.
