Measuring your Carbon Footprint Workshops

These FREE community workshops are a great opportunity for households to understand their carbon footprint and find out what steps they can take to make some real changes.

All workshops are free for Moreland residents and participants receive a free kit with tools and products to help your household reduce its carbon footprint.

Light refreshments provided.

Dates and venues:

North Coburg: 2 October, 10.30am- 12.30pm
Sussex Neighbourhood House
235-237 Sussex St. Coburg North.

Brunswick: 8 October, 7- 8.30pm
Brunswick Neighbourhood House
18 Garden St. Brunswick.

Green Renovator Workshops

Hear from some local experienced renovators about what they have done to make their homes environmentally sustainable.

Topics covered include:

  • Solar hot water and PV (solar panels)
  • Insulation
  • Heating and cooling
  • Passive solar design
  • and much more..

    Sessions are open to all Moreland residents.

    Dates and venues:

  • Wednesday October 15th, St Linus Hall, Corner Glyndon and Delta Avenue Merlynston, 7:00pm-8.30pm.
  • Saturday November 15th, CERES Ecohouse, 8-10 Lee Street Brunswick East, 10.30am -12.00pm. (Note: this workshop will also have children's activities)
  • Bookings are essential as places are limited
