Project partners

MEFL is managing the delivery of an exciting new Victorian Government Sustainability Fund project Delivering Clean Energy Solutions (DCES). The project will provide bundled energy products and services to residents across the northern suburbs of Melbourne (The region covered by the Northern Alliance for Greenhouse Action (NAGA)). Solar panels and solar hot water systems will be available through DCES, along with additional lower cost efficiency options throughout the year.

The project will build on our experience of community bulk buys and result in a business model for delivering energy services. It will also develop a social marketing strategy to facilitate the rapid adoption of clean energy solutions into the mainstream community.

DCES emerged from NAGA’s Towards Zero Net Emissions Action Plan and is a partnership with NAGA, Manningham, Darebin, Moreland and Nillumbik Councils and the Yarra Energy Foundation.

If you have already claimed the Government rebate you are not eligible to claim again.

I already have solar electricity and solar hot water installed using Gov't assistance programs available two years ago.

Do I still qualify for discounts if I apply to increase the number of solar panels??

Ditto Amy's message. I have had solar hot water panels for the last 16 years and am looking to reduce my electricity costs. Our family have an elderly relative (92 yrs) living with us who requires substantial extra electrical/heating support systems. Saving money be bulk buy solar sounds great.
